Christopher Charles Odom (Producer, Director & Writer)

Christopher was born in Queens, NY, but has lived in 10 states from the Atlantic to the Pacific.  He matriculated through three high schools and three universities.  While he was an undergraduate at MOREHOUSE COLLEGE, each summer he came home, he came home to a new state.  Moving can be difficult, but rather than focus on what he would lose, Chris looked forward to what he would gain.

After two years of switching his major each week at MOREHOUSE, Chris eventually dropped out of school in search of common sense.  Four years later, Chris was living in a hospital for three months alongside his dying roommate.  While the roommate was planning his own funeral, Chris was planning his own future.  It was then when Chris saw the light - only it was the light of the camera.  He was to become a filmmaker.

Chris returned to school and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Film & Video with a Minor in Theater from GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY in Atlanta.  While in Atlanta, Chris worked as a writer and a producer for the sketch comedy show THE PFHAR SIDE on GCTV.  Today Chris is a graduate of the UCLA MASTER OF FINE ARTS SCREENWRITING PROGRAM.

Winner of the APA MARTY KLEIN COMEDY WRITING AWARD, the WILLIAM J. & LEE PHILLIP BELL / THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS TELEVISION WRITING AWARD, and the STEVE LAWRENCE AND EYDIE GORMET FELLOWSHIP, Finalist in the SCRIPTAPALOOZA TV PILOT COMPETITION, Chris has written several scripts for stage, film, and television.

During his short walk on this earth, Chris has enjoyed the pleasure of as performing as an all-around-entertainer.  In more recent days, he performed as on of the principal characters in the off-Broadway musical “MAKE MINE 3-6-9”, and has performed as a Swing Dancer for the President of the United States of America.

Most recently, Chris completed the feature documentary HOW TO MAKE IT IN HOLLYWOOD BEFORE YOU MAKE, on which Chris was the Producer, Director and Writer.  Currently, Chris is in post-production on the documentary feature MAKING THE CUT on which Chris is also the Producer, Director and Writer.

Chris’ big dream is to one day run his own feature and television digital studio, and God willing, one day his dream will come true. (www.christopherodom.com)

Charles Alleyne (Lighting Director)

Charles Alleyne started his film making education with a number of eight-millimeter projects.  In 1992, he attended The New School in New York City for film.  After leaving The New School, he started working on an independent film entitled “Buggs”, which had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

In 1995 with knowledge in hand, he set out to do his first project - a short film shot on 16 millimeter entitled, “Two Words”, which he wrote and directed.  That year Charles organized a two-week film festival to benefit The Sickle Cell Victim’s Organization at Down State University.  New York State University gave him an award for this effort.  In 1996, “Two Words” had a world premiere screening in Berlin Germany.  In 1997, he was asked by Kiaros, a youth organization funded by the European Commission in Brussels Belgium, to teach a two-week film course.

Then in 1999, he started work on his first feature, shot on super 16, which he wrote and directed, entitled “Justin Brown”.  It is the story of a young black man in crisis, determined to keep himself from repeating the mistakes of his alcoholic and abusive father.   Filmed on a shoe-string budget, “Justin Brown” looks like a million dollars.

Charles Alleyne, Barbados born and New York bred, now lives in Los Angles.  In LA, he most recently directed the short “Unspoken”, written by Sonya Steel a staff writer for NBC’s ER.  Unspoken is now being edited.

Oxygen (Cast)

Oxygen “O2” (vocalist, musician, arranger, songwriter, composer, producer) and his band I. G. T. F. (I-nternational G-alactic T-actic F-orce) form a harmonic and synergistic blend of musical talents.

Based in Los Angeles, Oxygen feels right at home in the entertainment capital.  I love the fact that we were able to find a label here in L.A. interested in the new direction we want to take toward getting our music straight to the public via the WWW,” says Oxygen when asked about the entertainment centers in the U.S.  I. G. T. F. locks down and propels rhythmic morsels on the musical platform, then adds layers of fret wizardry, while painting a sonic landscape to embellish the musical and lyrical statements of the singer/songwriter’s repertoire.

Taken as a musical entity, I. G. T. F. is greater than the sum of its parts.  Oxygen explains the theory as being: “...an ebb and flow of creative musical interrelationships creating an acoustic distinctiveness... or if you fancy, Funked Up and Rocked Out...” he chuckles.

One might be quick to overlook Oxygen’s depth if it were not for the commitment to the basics of creating catchy riffs with thought provoking lyrics worthy of the music.  In the beginning was rhythm, so it’s rhythm he gives them.  Doing just that, I. G. T. F., featuring Oxygen, pounds an un-corrugated edge of finesse combing “in-you-face” lyric and grooves with melodic grace, yielding an artist predictably addictive.  (http://www.stargaterecords.com/)
